Upcoming Podcast: Top of Mind with Consilio Wealth Advisors

Consilio Wealth Advisors is a team of financial planning experts specialized in working with people in the tech industry. They believe the financial industry has made money more complicated than it needs to be by adding layers of complexity and unnecessary jargon.

The Consilio team set out to create clear plans that educate clients to understand their financial situation and how to build on that foundation, while empowering them to make confident financial decisions.

In an additional effort to make financial planning less intimidating and more straightforward, the firm will be launching a podcast—Top of Mind with Consilio Wealth Advisors. Hosted by one of the firm's co-founders Chris Kaminski and Consilio’s Investment Strategist, Hao Dang.

Learn what to expect in the upcoming podcast launch in this Q&A.

What can your audience expect from the podcast?

CK: This is a show where we talk about relevant topics going on in the markets and economy. You’ll hear about things that are in the headlines and things that aren’t, our goal is to make this fun and informative! [We’ll] also be answering questions that we've consistently heard from clients in the past 30 days.

What are financial discussion topics planned for the podcast?

CK: Anything! There’s always something to talk about, [including] big tech earnings, inflation, interest rate, home prices. We’ll also get into planning concepts, so this won’t just be market-driven.

ND: [We’ll address questions like,] “When is the right time to do a Roth conversion and why?” How to think about your company stock. “How does a mega back-door Roth 401(k) work?” Things like that.

What are you looking forward about providing this content to your existing (and new) audience?

CK: I'm most excited about being able to communicate across multiple forms. We type a lot, answer client emails, and have a lot of internal and client meetings, but never before have we recorded and posted content like this.

ND: I’m most excited to put out content that our clients and followers of our firm can gain value!

What do you hope your audience will gain from the podcast?

CK: Our goal in every interaction is to teach. We teach each other internally. We teach our clients about the “why” behind each recommendation, so they are educated and empowered vs. just trusting us.

ND: We believe that more informed people make better long-term decisions and that the short-term turmoil that is a side effect of life affects us all less when we have perspective of what’s going on.

How do you hope this podcast will make an impact?

CK: I hope this content is of value to our current clients since we’re able to make quick connections outside of regularly scheduled meetings.

ND: I hope our prospective clients and people following our firm learn something as well—possibly reach out to learn more about our unique niche and approach to financial planning!

Stay tuned for the podcast launch!

The Top of Mind podcast will be available to watch on the Consilio Wealth Advisors YouTube channel and various podcast streaming platforms.

“I’m very excited about this new form of content for us,” Chris said. “Through YouTube, podcasts, blogs, and social media, I feel we can extend our reach and impact more people through these channels!”
